ADRA Yemen pursue a mission of changing the world by uplifting one life at a time. ADRA International serves 120 countries and is present in Yemen since 1995. Its programs are supported by BHA, The Japan Platform, DANIDA, GFFO, BMZ, IHA Canada, UNOCHA, WFP ....etc. It has presence in different Governorates in Yemen responding to 6 areas of humanitarian sectors. ADRA Yemen is undertaking programs in Yemen in the fields of health, nutrition, WASH, food security, livelihoods, and protection. SUMMARY: Under the technical supervision of the MEAL coordinator, the Data Management Assistant is responsible for Design data collection tools, reporting templates, project databases, entering data into tailored activity databases, data cleaning, processing and producing information reports and dashboard. RESPONSIBILITIES: The “Data Management Assistant “will be responsible for but not limited to: Design tools, project databases and tracking reports. Coordinate with the field staff to receive data and enter it into the respective database with coordination project coordinator and MEAL assistant. Develop data quality control procedures to ensure producing high-quality information and reports. Prepare the distribution documents for the field team under the supervision of the Project Coordinator. Monthly compiling data and submit distribution reports, clusters reports and ITT. Build interactive tracking and monitoring dashboard to support progress monitoring. Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners. Create and organizing spreadsheets regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly. Scan documents and print files, when needed Archiving both electronic and paper tools and databases. Comply with data integrity and security policies. Adhere to the organization’s safeguarding framework, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), child protection, anti-harassment, and ethical conduct policies, ensuring alignment with international standards (e.g., Core Humanitarian Standard, UN CRC). Promptly report safeguarding concerns or violations through designated channels, maintain confidentiality, and participate in mandatory safeguarding training to uphold a safe, inclusive environment for all stakeholders Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities required and requested by the Direct Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, Information Technology, or related field. One year of direct experience in Data Management Assistant or MEAL Positions, preferably in humanitarian NGOs. Experience with MS Office and Data Programs Fast typing skills with high accuracy. Great attention to detail. Basic Understanding of Databases. Excellent English and Arabic Languages (Writing and speaking) are required. Have an experience with ADRA is preferable and add value.
