Opportunity Narrative

The published opportunity summary

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The external collaborator is expected to conduct research on labour and international protection safeguards and outcomes of labour mobility pathways for refugees in Lebanon and Jordan to Europe and how they ensure decent work outcomes and continuity and retention in employment. The study should also examine the key challenges affecting refugees and other stakeholders (e.g., costs, duration of employment, right for family reunification, etc.) and seeks to inform efforts to address challenges in pathway design and implementation. The external collaborator is expected to deliver a final research outcome report following ILO branding and design guidelines, containing identified good practices, actionable recommendations for design and implementation pathways in line with international labour standards, and ways for States and stakeholders to make them more accessible and effective for workers and employers. The outcomes of the study will be presented at the upcoming global knowledge-sharing event on labour mobility pathways for refugees by the external collaborator. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
