Action Contre la Faim provides coordinated responses in nearly 50 countries including Yemen globally within 7 field of expertise which includes Nutrition and Health, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Food Security, Mental Health Care Practices, Gender and Protection, Advocacy, Risk and Disaster Management and Research. ACF has been operational in Yemen since 2012 and is operational in 4 bases (Aden, Hodeida, Al khokha and Sanaa). Basic monthly salary (taxable): 897 $ to 1072 $ based on experience salary calculation (excluding other benefits offered by the organization) Line manager: Information Management Senior Officer Objective of the position : Overall responsible for entering data for program activities Objective 1 : Data entry and checking: Activities : Develop and maintain a schedule of data entry for monthly/weekly reporting in close collaboration with the IMSO. Follow up with the IMSOs regarding the submission of reports by field teams. Assist the IMSO in developing CMAM databases, reporting databases, and/or Excel databases for additional reporting as/if required. Enter the reporting data into specific and validated reporting databases and CMAM databases. Check the quality of the data to be entered and inform your immediate supervisor of any problems; report any issues that can affect data quality (accuracy, completeness, relevance, timeliness, and clarity). Calculate the time needed for data entry and keep your immediate supervisor informed of its progress. Check for any inconsistencies in the entered data. Closely coordinate and communicate with program team in case of any inconsistent figures or data appearing in the reports. Summarize the entered data in the form of a reporting template defined by the IMSO. Objective 2 : Analyse the data: Activities: Elaborate statistical tables, graphs, and trends regarding admissions and discharges, flagging the IMSO for technical reasoning. Sort and cross-check data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Write summary reports highlighting high/low trends, performance variances, and any identified inconsistencies in reports or results. Detect missing or redundant data and proactively propose improvements to data collection or entry processes.. Objective 3 : File the data: File all checked and received hard copies of reporting format in to archive Save the data entries regularly as well as the statistical results. Keep files by month/year stored into the computer with clear segregation (draft version, final versions) Regularly store/archive the final versions of reports validated by IMSO into the online server; Objective 4: Engage on other activities as required, assigned by the Supervisor Ability to understand and to interpret the nature of human behavior Additional Responsibilities This job description is not intended to be all inclusive and the employee will also perform other related tasks as required and responsible for reporting and communication of progress and achievement of the specific assigned task.
