About SOUL SOUL for Development is a national NGO, founded in February 1997 by a group of Yemeni professionals out of their desire to achieve a higher quality of life for Yemeni women and children. Operating out of its Headquarters in Sana’a and its offices in Taiz and Aden, SOUL, provides critical educational, health, and WASH services to urban and rural communities. Job Information Job Title: Field Monitor. Location: Taizz. Contract Type: Full Time. Contract Duration: 4 Months. Start Date: As soon as possible. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate field work for a project with DHO, local representative’s/community members, and different stakeholders in order to obtain any work permits in the intervention area according to needs. Ensure project activities implementation in the most efficient and more innovative way. Conduct supervisory visits to targeted locations along with the coordinator. Maintain the safety of forms documents, questionnaires, ensuring regular submission to the line manager and related units including M&E officer and project management. Conduct regular performance evaluation of the HWs and provide them with on-job training and regular mentorship when needed. Submit performance evaluation inputs to M&E team on regular basis. Prepare reports (weekly, monthly) summarizing all activities carried out in the field, achievements, difficulties, etc.; Participate in data collecting, related surveys or assessments as required. Participate in defining the key messages for awareness raising for developing the IEC materials. Facilitate the field work and maintain problems’ solving that are facing the project implementation including technical, coordination, administrative and logistics challenges and provide regular updates to the senior officer periodically. Review the monthly reports submitted by HWs/CHNVs and ensure that the data integrity is fulfilled before delivery to the senior project officer. Ensure acquire all permits required by all related authorities to ensure the implementation of the project activities. Monitor and supervise the project activities implementation at the targeted district as well as administering the daily operations. Perform other duties or tasks determined by project management. Qualifications & Experience: Hold a bachelor’s degree in any related field. Minimum 2 to 3 Years relevant experience in NUT projects Very good organizational and teamwork oriented Good written and spoken English skills. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with attention to details Have the ability to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds Good time management and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
