Job Title: IT Officer (Programmer) Report to: Admin Manager Contract: 12 months Place: Aden Deadline: 10 Jan 2026 About Afaq Shababia Foundation (ASF) ASF is a registered national NGO with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No 271. Our mission is to Contribute to youth and community development by implementing quality programs and building effective partnerships in accordance with best institutional practices. ASF started its work in Yemen since 2013 and has been implementing projects in 4 sectors namely skills-building, peace-building with good governance, FSL, and Education with Child Protection. Purpose of the Job Develop the organization's electronic assets, implement the daily operational tasks of the IT department, and develop the organization's electronic systems to achieve the strategic goals of the Afak Youth Foundation through analysis, programming, maintenance, and training, managing the IT infrastructure, ensuring information security, and promoting technological innovation in line with global best practices. Duties and Responsibilities ASF is looking for an efficient and qualified person to fill the position to carry out the following Tasks and Responsibilities: Analysis and development of the organization's systems, programs, and technical assets. Develop solutions to technical problems facing the organization and employees related to electronic work or electronic assets. Search for new opportunities to apply technology to improve operational efficiency and enhance growth in the organization. Design and develop electronic solutions through programming for the organization's management systems via the organization's programming platforms and electronic assets Providing support, assistance, and continuous development in the field of information technology for the organization Collecting information about existing systems, documenting them, and preparing technical reports regarding them. Providing the necessary protection and security for the organization's data Providing the necessary training and digital awareness for the organization's employees Dealing with any technical problems that may arise in the organization's electronic systems and finding effective solutions Developing and implementing information security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data. Conducting periodic information security risk assessments and taking the necessary measures to mitigate them. Improving the user experience with systems and applications. Any other tasks within the framework of the job objective. Required Profile and Experience .1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer, Programming. .2. Professional Experience: At least two years of experience in the same field The ability to learn and support modern systems and applications. To be familiar with writing programs and application codes. Managing and processing databases. Dealing with Microsoft systems and ERP Next...etc.
