Job Title: IT Operations Engineer Deadline for applying: ‎ Nov 12, 2025 We are a leading company in the financial sector seeking a skilled IT Operations Engineer to join our technology team. As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing systems and applications that support critical business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable IT services, troubleshoot incidents, and implement process automation to improve overall performance. Skills & Experience 1- IT Systems & Virtualization Management Administer and maintain Microsoft Hyper-V and Proxmox VE environments. Deploy, configure, and monitor virtual machines and clusters for high availability. Manage Windows/Linux servers, storage, and virtualization platforms. Ensure system performance, backup, and disaster recovery readiness. 2- IT Operations & Automation Implement and monitor IT operations tools to proactively identify and resolve issues. Automate system administration and maintenance tasks to reduce downtime. Oversee patch management, system upgrades, and scheduled jobs. Provide second-line support for escalated IT service desk incidents. 3- Security & Compliance Enforce endpoint and server security policies, including antivirus and access control. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to investigate and remediate incidents. Support compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, financial regulations). Document and maintain IT operational procedures and change logs. 4- Incident & Problem Management Respond rapidly to incidents and minimize downtime. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes. Maintain up-to-date troubleshooting documentation and SOPs. Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator or Proxmox training certifications are preferred. Experience 2-4 years of proven experience in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure support. Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and Proxmox virtualization platforms is required. Strong background with Windows/Linux servers, cloud environments, and IT monitoring tools. Experience in financial sector IT environments is an advantage.
