Post date: April 5th, 2026 Closing date: April 11th, 2026 Number of Positions: 1 Job Purpose: provide specialized legal assistance to vulnerable groups, including) survivors, children at risk, and other protection beneficiaries (ensuring access to justice and adherence to national laws and humanitarian principles. The role involves legal counseling, court representation (where applicable), awareness-raising, and safe referrals, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, ethical documentation, and protection mainstreaming. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Legal Advisor also handle all legal responsibilities, including appearing in courts to assist organizations as Advocates Assist undertake all relevant legal counseling sessions in the project and where relevant ensure adequate referral and follow-up. Assist in providing legal counseling sessions. Keep soft and hard records of each individual legal counseling/referral/follow up. Verifying of legal cases and their documentation and provide legal services to beneficiaries. Provide the legal assistance to services seekers and refer to service providers. Organize legal awareness sessions. Prepare the legal monthly report – in coordination with the protection officer. Deliver legal counseling and advice on civil documentation and Housing, Land, and Property (HLP) issues Support beneficiaries with civil documentation processes, including birth registration, birth certificates, ID cards, and marriage certificates. Liaise and coordinate with the Civil Registration Authority (CRA) to facilitate the issuance of official documents. Any other tasks assigned by the project director. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor degree in Law, or any related Field. Two Years Experience in working on similar tasks and duties. Computer skills in MS Office programs. Flexible with working hours and conditions. Good organizational skills, attention to detail and reporting in a timely manner. Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship building skills. Team player, presentable, dynamic and customer oriented. Ability to work independently and proactively. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
