Contract duration: 6 Months. Contract type: Full time contract. Report to (Hierarchical): Project Coordinator Aden Reports to (Functional): Project Coordinator Aden MAIN PURPOSE: Be the MSF focal point for security Management at orthopedic Unit in Al-Jumhuriya hospital and ensure MoH watchmen are following security protocols KEY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing support to the PC and MoH for security management in the orthopedic Unit in Al-Jumhuriya Hospital, according to MSF protocols, standards an procedures to prevent and mitigate the risks for patients, staff and caretakers. MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities Interacting with patients/care takers/community members in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and be responsible for the overall crowd control of caretakers/visitors flow. Ensuring the rules for care takers and visitors are in place Participating in the development, review and adaptation of the Ortho Unit security plan. Identifying current and potential vulnerabilities in the Hospital security SOP. Evaluating, monitoring, reporting and improving physical applied security measures currently in place in MSF operational area, premises. Act as the main security focal point for MSF in Al-Jumhuriya maintaining regular contact with hospital administration, authorities, and relevant stakeholders to support MSF operations. Maintain a registry of relevant contacts for security purposes specific to the Al-Jumhuriya Hospital context. Under the PC, liaise with the MoH’s security department for any incident that MSF cannot manage internally. Briefing all the MoH watchmen on their responsibilities and tasks linked to security and communication. Monitor the security situation in and around Al-Jumhuriya Hospital and report incidents or contextual changes to the PC. Provide weekly and timely reports on security. Ensure all liaison and security-related activities in Al-Jumhuriya are carried out in full respect of MSF principles and the sensitive context of Yemen. Work closely with MoH watchmen and medical teams and organize weekly meetings, trainings (how to react, etc) for them with the support of the PC Supporting the MoH watchmen when tensions arise at the entrances or within the wards Full fill the security incident report when if needed QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Education: Secondary education essential. Bachelors degree in Administration or communication related studies preferred. Experience: Essential previous experience of at least two years in similar positions, in INGOs or MSF Preferred. Proven Experience in management of physical security is essential. Proven Experience in team management for at least one year is a must. Languages: Ability to communicate in English and fluency in Arabic language essential.
