Logistics Officer Organization: Yanabia Alkhair Foundation (YKF) Position Title: Logistics Officer Project: Restoring Dignity and Saving Lives through Integrated Cash and WASH Assistance for Vulnerable IDPs in Al Arah, Al Musaymir, and Tur Al Bahah Sub-districts of Lahj Governorate Duty Station: Aden, with frequent travel to Tur Al-Baha, Al-Mudarabah & Ras Al-Arah, and Al-Musaymir districts (Lahj Governorate) Contract Type: Full-time (subject to budget availability) Number of Positions: 1 Application Deadline: 11 March 2026 Project Overview The project is implemented in partnership with the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) to enhance the capacity of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities to meet their basic needs. The intervention combines( Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA)) with improved Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Procurement Management Conduct procurement processes in line with YKF procurement policies and procedures, as well as donor (YHF) requirements, ensuring transparency and competitiveness. Prepare tender and bidding documents; receive, open, and evaluate bids; and submit award recommendations to the Procurement Committee. Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with required quality standards. Maintain accurate and complete procurement records and documentation. 2. Warehouse and Inventory Management Oversee the receipt and proper storage of supplies and materials. Organize stock and manage inventory movements (issuance, periodic stock counts) using approved inventory management systems. Prepare regular inventory reports, including expired or damaged items. 3. Transportation and Distribution Plan and coordinate the transportation of supplies and assistance to project sites in targeted districts, in coordination with the Program Team. Monitor transportation schedules and ensure the safety and integrity of goods during transit. Monitor fuel consumption and maintenance records and prepare periodic reports. 5. Logistics Support to the Team Provide logistical support to field teams (travel arrangements, office supplies management, etc.). Organize and manage vehicle movements to facilitate field visits and ensure timely implementation of activities. Prepare vehicle movement schedules in coordination with field teams. Ensure vehicles are operationally ready and compliant with approved safety and security procedures. 6. Compliance and Reporting Ensure full compliance with organizational and donor policies in all logistics operations, including anti-fraud and anti-corruption measures. Prepare regular logistics reports (monthly and quarterly) and contribute to project reports. Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation. Adhere to Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards and the organization’s Code of Conduct. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of three (2) years of experience in logistics and procurement with local or international organizations; experience in humanitarian projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of procurement and tendering procedures in line with international donor regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and inventory management systems. Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Good command of English (reading and writing) to review documents and prepare reports. Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders. High level of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
