Marketing and Product Officer Department: Marketing and Products Travel Requirement: Yes Place: Sana’a Governorate End Date: 30 June 2026 Summary The Marketing and Product Officer conducts market and customer research, defines positioning, and delivers integrated marketing campaigns. The role works with Technology, Sales, and Customer Success to translate customer needs into product requirements and execute go-to-market plans. After launch, the role monitors product adoption and performance, gathers customer feedback, and drives continuous improvements. The officer also supports partner initiatives & ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels. Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Market & Customer Insight Conduct market, customer, and competitor research to identify opportunities & risks. Define target segments, personas, positioning, and value propositions. Translate insights into marketing priorities and demand-generation plans. 2. Marketing Strategy & Planning Build and execute marketing plans aligned with business goals and product roadmap. Define campaign objectives, audience, channel mix, messaging, and success metrics. Support pricing/packaging inputs through market analysis as applicable. 3. Integrated Campaign Execution Plan and run multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, email, content, paid, events). Create and manage content and collateral (brochures, sales decks, case studies, web content). Manage social media presence and community engagement. 4. Brand & Communications Maintain brand identity and consistent messaging across all channels. Coordinate PR/communications support for launches, updates, & company initiatives. Support webinars, trade shows, and corporate events from planning to follow-up. 5. Marketing Performance & Optimization Track KPIs (lead flow, conversion, CAC/ROI, engagement, traffic) and report insights. Use analytics to optimize campaigns, content performance, and digital presence. Share recommendations with Sales and leadership based on performance trends. 6. Product Strategy & Portfolio Management Support product portfolio planning aligned with market needs and business priorities. Maintain clear product positioning and differentiation against competitors. Manage partner-related offerings and coordinate alignment on joint solutions. 7. Requirements and Cross-Functional Product Development Translate customer needs into product requirements and user stories. Collaborate with Technology and stakeholders to validate scope, feasibility, and value. Contribute to product documentation and internal process improvements. 8. Go-to-Market Readiness & Launch Execution Lead launch coordination to ensure feature readiness, documentation, & enablement. Create product messaging inputs: value proposition, key benefits, use cases, FAQs. Support launch planning with Sales/CS: playbooks, pitch materials, and training. 9. Product Performance, Feedback & Continuous Improvement Monitor post-launch adoption and usage, customer feedback, and business outcomes. Track product health metrics where applicable (SLAs/SLOs/SLIs) with Technology. Drive improvement priorities and support lifecycle decisions (enhancements, deprecation/EOL). 10. Product Enablement and Knowledge Transfer Train Sales/Marketing/Customer Success and other teams or stakeholders on product capabilities and value messaging. Develop enablement assets (battlecards, demos, technical overviews, release notes). Ensure teams can confidently communicate product value and handle objections. 11. Other Tasks Perform other additional tasks and projects as assigned by the line manager. Required Skills Marketing and Growth Integrated marketing planning and campaign execution (digital, social, email, content, paid). Brand management, messaging, copywriting, and content development. Performance marketing and funnel optimization (KPIs, ROI, conversion). Product & Go-to-Market Product lifecycle understanding (requirements, launch readiness, adoption, improvement, EOL). Product marketing fundamentals: positioning, value proposition, competitive differentiation. Cross-functional leadership with Technology, Sales, and Customer Success. Analytics and Tools Strong analytical capability; KPI reporting and insight generation. Proficiency with analytics/BI tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI/Tableau, Mixpanel or equivalent). Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce and equivalents). Basic design/content tools knowledge (e.g., Canva/Adobe) and presentation skills. Professional Competencies Communication and stakeholder management (written, verbal, and presentation). Project management, prioritization, and time management. Problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to detail. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or a related field. Relevant experience in marketing and/or product roles within technology, cloud, or software industries. Experience using marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and reporting dashboards. Certifications in Product Management, Digital Marketing, Analytics/BI is a plus.
