For more information about YGUSSWP, please visit our website at: https://ygusswp.org Job Summary The Project Coordinator will oversee the design, planning, and implementation of CCCM projects to ensure objectives are met efficiently and effectively. This role involves management, supervision, reporting, and coordination with internal teams, donors, and local authorities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee project design, planning, and implementation, ensuring objectives are met with quality and efficiency. Establish and maintain effective project reporting, evaluation, and communication systems. Manage project budgets within approved limits and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Collect, compile, and submit project data, including statistical reports, case studies, and success stories. Develop work plans, recruitment plans, reporting mechanisms, and training plans using project-monitoring tools. Ensure timely and accurate progress reporting in line with internal, sectoral, and donor requirements. Supervise data compilation for weekly, bi-weekly, and quarterly reports with M&E staff. Conduct regular meetings with the project team and maintain flexibility to take on additional responsibilities. Provide technical guidance on project design, strategy, and management. Ensure all project activities and trainings comply with global standards and coordinate with local authorities. Assist in recruitment and training of qualified program staff; evaluate and plan professional development. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including working hours. Maintain open communication lines with field staff. Identify training needs and enhance staff capacity to ensure program sustainability. Attend coordination meetings relevant to country activities and interface with government and agencies. Ensure security protocols are applied and followed. Uphold YGUSSWP Code of Conduct, humanitarian principles, confidentiality, and AGD mainstreaming. Perform any other related tasks as assigned by YGUSSWP Management. Personal Qualities: Professional reporting and data management skills; excellent computer literacy. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Professional English language skills are preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Project Coordinator in humanitarian programming. Familiarity with international humanitarian operations, coordination structures, and donor/NGO mandates. Ability to make decisions independently and exercise sound judgment. Flexibility and resilience in stressful situations. Ability to motivate and relate to local staff effectively. Creative problem-solving skills with limited resources. Good understanding of gender, protection, and human rights issues. Strong organizational, reporting, and time-management skills. Experience managing complex on-site emergency response projects. Ability to build linkages with NGOs, INGOs, government agencies, and local communities. Willingness to spend extended periods in field conditions. Languages: Fluency in written and spoken Fluent in both English and Arabic.
