*Call for Volunteers — Pure Hands Org (Multi-Department & Operations Support)* Duty Stations: [multiple governorates (e.g., Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Taiz, Al-Dhale’a, Marib, Hadramout, Al-Mahra)] Application Deadline: [30/11/2025] Purpose & Scope Pure Hands invites motivated volunteers to support any organizational activity as needs arise. Volunteers may be assigned to programs, operations, and support functions and rotated between teams according to the related experience to meet field and office priorities. Departments & Sample Activities (non-exhaustive) Programs (Education, FSL, WASH, Protection, Health, Shelter, etc): activity prep, media, photographer, beneficiary registration, distributions, field work, attendance lists, classroom support, community outreach, awareness sessions, basic translations, photo logs. Emergency Response: rapid needs assessments, kit packing, on-site crowd management, hotline support, post-response follow-up. MEAL & Information Management: Kobo/ODK data collection, PDMs, spot checks, data cleaning/entry, dashboard updates, learning logs, CFM/CRM ticket logging and referrals. Grants & Program Development: background research, partner/donor mapping, drafting annexes (workplans, indicator tables), formatting, citation checks. Partnerships & External Relations: meeting notes, contact lists, follow-ups, MoU trackers, event support. Communications & Visibility: field photos (with consent), success stories, basic video clips, social media drafts, visibility compliance checks. Engineering/Infrastructure: site visit checklists, BoQ printouts, photo documentation, contractor meeting minutes, HSE sign-in sheets. Logistics & Supply Chain: PR/PO filing, bid opening minutes support, supplier calls, delivery follow-up, warehouse counts, GRNs, asset labeling. Procurement: RFQ distribution, quotation receipt logs, comparison tables (under supervision), archiving per policy. Warehouse & Asset Management: inventory updates, bin-card filing, kitting support, stock reconciliation. Fleet & Transport: movement requests, fuel log copies, driver communication boards, trip file assembly. Admin & HR: filing, scanning, interview scheduling, candidate phone screens (scripted), onboarding packs, attendance sheets. Finance: voucher packaging, stamping, scanning, simple trackers, photocopying support, payment package assembly (no approvals/authorizations). Compliance/Audit/Internal Control: document retrieval, checklist pre-reviews, action log updates. Safeguarding, PSEA, Gender & Inclusion: sign-in sheets for orientations, poster placement checks, referral info sheets, awareness session logistics. Safety, Security & Access: visitor logs, briefing pack printing, access letter prep support, incident log formatting. IT & Digital Support: device handover forms, simple troubleshooting checklists, account inventory updates. Legal & Governance (as relevant): scanning, filing, register updates. Government Liaison & Cluster Coordination: letter drafting support, meeting minutes, 4Ws data prep (under supervision). Training & Capacity Building: participant lists, venue logistics, materials preparation, pre/post-test data entry. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of assigned tasks across any department in line with supervisor instructions. (The selection would be based on experience and interests) Ensure accurate documentation, data privacy, and timely reporting using approved tools. Uphold safeguarding, PSEA, Do No Harm, and confidentiality standards. Represent Pure Hands professionally with communities, authorities, and partners. Eligibility & Role Matching We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Selection is role-based against operational needs, while upholding safeguarding (Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding, PSEA). Non-negotiables: Safeguarding compliance; valid ID per policy; no conflict of interest; reference checks if needed; no fees at any stage. Role bands: General Support: no specific experience (queue management, distributions, light logistics, basic outreach etc. ). Operational/Field Support: basic literacy, forms/phone use, local mobility (registration, data entry, store/logistics assistant, community mobilizer etc.). Technical/Admin: role-specific requirements (e.g., advanced digital skills, prior experience, relevant qualification) such as admin/finance, MEAL, or cold-chain technician etc. Experience & Qualifications (role-dependent): Some roles may require relevant experience or qualifications; equivalent experience/demonstrable skills may be considered. Role-appropriate induction and safeguarding apply. Notes: Volunteering is unpaid; limited allowances may be provided per policy, project, and location. Data are used only for recruitment/roster purposes. Women and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Candidate Profile Service-oriented, reliable, and adaptable; able to rotate between teams and tasks. Basic digital literacy (smartphone/computer); Arabic required; English an asset. Strong interpersonal skills, punctuality, and respect for diversity and inclusion. Previous volunteering/NGO exposure is an advantage.
